Leash Lady "Dog Leashes" Review

"Uh oh.. My sister is in charge of walks, now?" ~ Phoenix

Harnesses Not Included.

Adventures in coupler land!! Woohoo! Hey everyone! Today I have a review for you on the Two Dog Adjustable Coupler from Leash Lady on Etsy! I also got an additional belt for a handsfree option as well. These are all "studio" photos as it has been raining and I'm not going to take my camera out in it, though, I have used the items outside and have tested them. We received these items in exchange for an honest review.

Teal item: Belt that goes around my waist.
Purple item: Handle and leash attachment
Pink items: Leashes

LeashLady is a shop on Etsy who's owner has been making pet supplies since 2002. She offers a variety of different items from leashes and collars, to harnesses and even head collars. She also offers accessories like collar bows and tag holders!

"Mush!"
"To Narnia!!"

I have never tried couplers with the girls before so I was excited to try this and see what happened. They were kind of confused by it at first because they didn't have as much leash as they normally do, the coupler in total is about 3.5ft with each individual leash being 20" long at the maximum length. The two pink leash parts are adjustable. The coupler spread apart is about 42" so that's about how far away they can get from each other.

I really like the idea for couplers for when I'm going to the pet store or any time I need to keep them both close to me. I also like that the length is adjustable. It's also great for short trips to the park where they need to be on leash from the parking lot to the trails. I could also use this leash for one dog with a no pull harness, with one part clipped to the front and one to the back for extra control. The handle is very comfortable and the leashes and belt are made out of nylon.

I wouldn't use this leash for "on leash" long hikes because the girls do like to sniff and go their own way and they just can't do that with this leash. I would love it if the leash was a little longer (LeashLady does take custom orders so if you want a leash like this you just have to ask her) and it is a bit heavy, but I don't think that can be avoided when you choose a coupler. There are a lot of parts involved with it.

I really like the handsfree belt that we got, too! It's great for when I'm out and about and need both of my hands. I can also attach my treat bag to it so that's a huge plus. A lot of the times in the winter when I'm wearing a long jacket, it's hard to get the treat bag on and then it's hard to get into it. With the handsfree belt I can just put the treat bag on it and wrap it around my jacket. So it holds my bag and my leashes!

LeashLady was excellent to work with. I initially made a mistake when ordering the handsfree belt and ended up ordering one that was too small. I contacted LeashLady and she fixed it immediately and I got the correct size. I am very happy with my order, the customer service was great and I highly recommend checking out her shop!

ZoePhee was provided with a 2 Dog Coupler and Handsfree Belt in exchange for an honest review. We were not monetarily compensated in anyway and I only share information that I feel is relevant to my readers. LeashLady is not responsible for the content of this blog post.

  5. I love bright colors, so great for easy visibility! The handsfree belt seems very practical as well ~ I'd probably also put some poop bags into the treat bag ;-)

  7. The leashes are adorable! I love the bright colors. They look very functional in terms of keeping your dog safely attached to the leash. I also love how they're not too bulky. I have a shih tzu myself, and I am looking for a functional, safe leash to walk him with.
