Orijen Tundra Dog Treats Review

Hi everyone! I hope you're all having an awesome Tasty Tuesday! It's time for our monthly Chewy.com review! Chewy.com is a wonderful company that delivers high quality pet products right to your door. Their shipping is incredibly fast and they have awesome customer service! I highly recommend checking them out!

Today I am reviewing Orijen: Tundra Dog Freeze-Dried Dog Treats. I've heard a lot of good things about Orijen and I was really excited for my girls to try these. We received our treats in exchange for an honest review.

About Orijen Tundra Dog Treats:
Orijen Tundra is a unique and flavorful treat featuring ranch-raised elk, cage-free quail and steelhead trout, all fresh from our region. These treats are loaded with 100% venison and fish in WholePrey ratios so you can indulge and nourish your dog at the same time. Made without cooking or preservatives, Orijen's Biologically Appropriate treats are gently freeze-dried to lock in the life-giving goodness and amazing flavors of fresh and regional ingredients for a reward your dog will truly love.

Ingredients: Boneless venison, elk liver, boneless elk, venison liver, boneless quail, steelhead trout

The treats are made with 100% meat and nothing else, they are low in calories and carbohydrate free. There are approximately 50 treats per 2-oz bag and 85 treats per 3.5-oz bag. The treats are small to medium in size and don't crumble easily. They are pretty stinky but it's the standard freeze-dried smell and not overbearing.

The girls were very excited to try these and they loved them! They considered them to be VERY high value treats. They are a bit bigger than what I'd normally use for training treats but I would get them again. I would definitely recommend checking these treats out!

ZoePhee was provided with a bag of Orijen Tundra Dog Treats in exchange for an honest review. We were not monetarily compensated for spreading the word about these treats. My reviews are 100% honest and my opinions are my own. Chewy.com and Orijen are not responsible for the content of this blog post.

  6. Blueberry loves Orijen and Acana - they are on the pricier side for treats, but well worth it since they are healthy - no junk in em!

  7. We use these for our nose work rewards because they are high value and don't crumble when we eat them. I think we have tried all the flavors. Good stuff!

  8. We tried those a while ago... the pups loved them but I really like smaller treats for training... But perhaps they'd be good for when a super high value reward is needed.
