On Tuesday, the girls and I went to meet my friend at Thousand Acres! My friend just got a new dog and her name is Ava! She's a six month old mix breed from a rescue in central Oregon.
Isn't she gorgeous!?! I love her golden eyes! Her mom says she's pretty mellow for a young dog and loves her ball.
The girls took a little bit to get used to each other. Ava was not quite sure what to do with my two girls. They were running around like they normally do and it took a while for everyone to settle down.
I love capturing silly photos like this! Ava shakes off while Zoe sneaks up to check her out.
Ava is such a neat dog and I can't wait for us to have more adventures with her!

ReplyDeleteIs it terrible for me to say that with 3 bloggers posting fun pictures at Thousand Acres (Sage, Tenacious Little Terrier, and you) I'm really jealous? :)
Yeah, I really do like that park. When we moved back to Oregon we could of chosen any of the cities in Portland but we chose the area we chose so we could be close to that park. I'm not as close to some of my friends but I'd rather be able to go to Thousand Acres. :)

DeleteAva did really well and what a cutie she is! Had to be challenging to her because your two live together and she might have felt awkward at first. She did great though! Fun times ahead!

ReplyDeleteAva is a really pretty dog; and I must say I'm a bit jealous if she's a Shepherd mix because Laika was nowhere close to being mellow at that age. Glad to see they made a new friend - and one that looks like she had good manners.
