Phoenix's 1st Day Home! Throwback Thursday

Happy Throwback Thursday everyone! Since yesterday was Phoenix's Gotcha Day, I figured today would be a great day to share some photos of her on her first day at home!

Riding home from the shelter. She was scared and also car sick.
This was her first time outside!
Phoenix's first walk with Zoe! Phoenix is the one on lead.
Phoenix was and still is a huge fan of the kitchen area!
Once she wasn't as scared, she did make herself at home!

  11. I love those throwback photos! Yay for Phoenix! Has she gotten over her carsickness? I have a friend whose new puppy is terribly carsick... so I'm curious.

    1. Thank you! Phoenix's car sickness honestly varies by the trip. Sometimes she's okay, sometimes we can't go 3 miles. If I know we are going somewhere, I try to plan for early mornings and I don't feed her before we leave, then I usually give her some snacks when we get to where we were going. It has helped a ton! Also, I think the wobble board has helped her to get used to the motion, too. We use it all the time.
