Hi everyone! I hope you're all having a fantastic Tuesday! It's time for our monthly chewy.com review! If you didn't know, Chewy.com is an awesome company that ships all of your favorite pet products right to your door! They have amazing customer service and their shipping is incredibly fast. They are one of our favorite companies! We received our treats as part of the chewy.com blogger program in exchange for an honest review.
This month we are reviewing Sojos Simply Lamb, these treats are a single ingredient treat made with 100% human grade lamb. Zoe and Phoenix were very excited when Mr. N was kind enough to share some of his with them on our walk last week and they were even more excited when they realized they had their own bag!
The treats are:

I've been using these treats for training and the dogs have been having a blast doing their tricks for them! The girls consider these to be high value, so they work extra hard to get them! The treats break apart easily and the only down side is that they are a tad bit greasy, which is sort of weird for freeze dried but that's okay! Zoe and Phoenix really liked these and I would definitely get them again! I would recommend checking out Sojos Simply Lamb and if your pooch doesn't like lamb they have several other proteins available! They also come in turkey, beef, venison, salmon and boar!

ReplyDeleteI use freeze-dried lung and those can be greasy too. I'll have to check these out. (BTW, I'm waiting for the Boos treats to come in, I ordered some for Christmas.) :-)

DeleteSchooner and Skipper eat the SoJo's Turkey Raw Food. They love it we have not tried the treats yet.

ReplyDeleteI've never tried these although I use lamb lung as my highest value treat for my pups. However, our excitable R sometimes forgets everything he's ever learned with such a high value treat :) I'll have to check out the Sojo ones!
ReplyDeleteThese are some of the dogs' favorite! We have a bag of turkey ones open now. They are pretty greasy for freeze dried, though!
ReplyDeleteI refrigerate mine so I wonder if that's why I don't think they are greasy? I just started using these when it cooled down so I may have a different opinion once summer hits. These are the one treat that can lure B away from sticks and horse poo. Unfortunately, I haven't found anything high value enough to stop her from wanting to stalk wabbits.
