It's been either at or below freezing for the past week or so. On New Year's Day we went for a hike and we found a giant frozen puddle! The girls were really super excited about playing and sliding around on it! It was fun for all of 5 minutes until Zoe decided she was too cold. LOL!
So pretty! They look like twins! :)
ReplyDeleteA spot of Dancing On Ice. If they ever bought the show back you two are already in training. Enjoy your skate.
ReplyDeleteWe love the first just frozen puddles of the season. When you step on them and the ice cracks, then we paw at the hole, looking for water. So interesting.
ReplyDeleteI love their coats. Ruby only tolerates the cold and ice for about five minutes as well.
ReplyDeleteOh it must be cold, you both have parkas on! I'm not sure I would like to slip-slide on the ice.
ReplyDeleteSounds like fun, at least for a while.
ReplyDeleteShiner probably would have decided she was too cold much sooner BOL!
ReplyDeleteZoe is like my Sydney. Except I can't carry Sydney. LOL
ReplyDeleteZoe is a smart girl isn't she. Yes she is.
ReplyDeleteHave a woof woof day you two. My best to your wonderful mom. ☺
This year temperatures across the country seem to go from one extreme to the other. I'm with Zoe - frozen puddles means cold...
ReplyDeleteIce puddles are the best! Especially the super large ones where you can slide around and have some fun too! :)
ReplyDeleteLauren, I hope you're a cold weather lover, because it sounds brutal over there! We heard it was 11 degrees in NYC yesterday and shivered in our 60 degree weather here in Florida (I know, we've become wusses), so I can only imagine what zero or below is like. Actually, it was that in NYC last winter, while we were attempting to navigate walking two dogs around wind-whipped buildings, freezing our tushes off (dog's tushes, too). Stay warm, Lauren!
ReplyDeleteYup, cold here too only we like it (mom doesn't)!
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
Adorable!
ReplyDeleteWe were excited it was only around freezing today so we could spend a lot of time outside! Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. Koira hates getting her feet cold too- if she is in snow without booties, she will pick up one foot at a time and hold it up, as if she is going "right foot cold, left food cold, back foot cold, all the feet cold". Poor sad pathetic dogs, right?
ReplyDeleteHi hi hi! Ojo here! I love frozen ground - it holds the smells so well! Maybe you need some booties?
ReplyDeleteBlueberry seems tougher this year with our version of winter. I haven't had to put her coat on yet even though we've been on hikes when it's been 36 out. Usually anything under 50 makes her shiver. A frozen pond sounds fun but I am not sure B would last 5 minutes! Stay warm!!
ReplyDeleteThat's such a neat photo! I love the girls' coats. <3
ReplyDeleteThose winter coats must really be coming in handy! I'm glad to hear that the girls are making their own fun in the winter weather. It has been cold here too. Of course, we were blessed with a warm spell through December, so I can't complain.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful pic! Love those coats! Stay warm, my friends!
ReplyDeleteIce skating with no boots on! Training for the olympics? LeeAnna at not afraid of color
ReplyDeleteTwinsies!
ReplyDeleteLeo walked over some ice in a parking lot yesterday. I told him he was very brave.
The dogs need Yak Trax!
ReplyDeleteLOl fun! My huskies love playing on frozen puddles!
ReplyDeleteღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
