Lazy Lobster Sunday!

Phoenix was really tired after a long hike and swimming! Her lobster makes a good pillow!

New "Dog" Bed!

Last week we had an unfortunate incident where one of my cats decided to pee on our nicest dog bed. I was less than than thrilled about that as you can imagine. It was a nice bed, bolster sides and no matter how much enzymatic cleaner I used, I could not get the smell out. So we ended up throwing that bed away and the dogs needed a new bed.

We had been looking at beds but they were all expensive and had very little padding. So my husband had this great idea to get a kid's mattress! We found this Sealy mattress at Walmart for $60, basically the same price as a large dog bed. It's completely waterproof and it's just like our bed!

The girls really like this mattress! It's large enough that they both fit on it with room to spare, which is awesome because Zoe can be guardy sometimes about he space. It's got a lot of cushion and they are super comfortable! It was a pretty good buy, too! I'm really happy with it!

Raining and Pouring on B&W Sunday

It's raining and pouring, the dogs are snoring!

Really, they were less than thrilled when they woke up and it was still raining! They decided today would be a good day to go back to bed! Phoenix decided my leg would make a great pillow and fell asleep there!

Sleepy Saturday

"I'm not getting off this couch, you can't make me!"

We are having a "Pineapple Express" storm here this weekend and the girls declared today "Sleepy Saturday". 

That's my husband's maple tree and it's covered in raindrops! I can't wait until this tree has leaves again! It's beautiful. It's the first thing we bought together when we moved to Oregon the first time. We got it at a Farmer's Market. It was so tiny when we got it!

Mean Kitty Snuggles on Wordless Wednesday

Lilly is our resident "Mean Kitty". She is just not a very tolerant cat. She wants to do what she wants to do and if you have a different idea she doesn't like it. She will often sass me and slap me if I make her mad somehow. The dogs are very scared of her.

Sleepy B&W Sunday

We are having a very sleepy B&W Sunday today!! :D Well the dogs are at least. I'm going to be grooming my neighbor's schnauzer and then after that we are going to be testing a new leash! Come back on Friday for my review on the Snap Leash. I am also going to be giving one away! (USA only)
