Actually, it's so weird out there!! I've only ever seen one rabbit and some moles.. We've smelled a skunk once but didn't see it.. No deer or anything out there.. Mostly just birds and gardener snakes.
I used to be the same way when I first started going out there! The grass is taller than me (5' 3") in some places! I even used to put giant hunting bells on them but now they recall so well that I don't worry about it. :D
Crikey Zoe and Phoenix I gotta have words with you two. You RECALL??? Are you mad? Have you NEVER heard of selective hearing? You two are making me look real BAD!! I went for a run with a mate today on a disused golf course. Saw a roo and ..... goodbye Mum. I heard her calling but there was no way I was going to let that roo go without a chase. My mate and I did recall ..... EVENTUALLY ..... we gave that roo a run for it's money first though.
I bet there were lots of bunnies to flush!

ReplyDeleteGreat recall! Sage saw something there a few weeks ago that really spooked her. Bear or coyotes maybe?
ReplyDeleteZoe has been very spooky out there as well. I'm assuming coyotes. I've seen coyote scat on a bunch of trails.
