Zoe is incredibly unimpressed!
So the rain came back. Both girls were not impressed by it. I know that we really need it but I was a little spoiled by all of the sunny weather and I was sort of disappointed that it was raining, too.
We didn't make it to the park this morning. I have some pretty bad blisters and I figured the three of us could use a rest day (or two). I also don't want to push Phoenix too much in case her leg is still bothering her. I haven't noticed in limping or weird gaits, she seems fine but I don't want to press my luck. Both girls were totally fine with it. We had a short training session doing a new trick they are learning and called it a day.
Poor Zoe! She is really not happy that she has to put the boots back on again!

Nothing wrong with taking a break now and then, especially given Phoenix' leg. And I hear you about the rain - it makes everything a muddy mess, I'm not a fan even though Laika doesn't seem to mind a bit.

ReplyDeleteSuch an adorable photo! Daisy hates wearing boots, we've pretty much given up on them now. She doesn't like the paw baths she gets when she brings those muddy little feet into the house either, but those she'll have to tolerate. ;)

ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear you are having trouble with blisters. There is nothing worse than trying to walk with sore feet. Hopefully the training session will keep the girls engaged and happy.
ReplyDeleteWe absolutely love walking in the rain (less people and dogs to contend with) but the really bad storms are hard.
