Llamas don't wear Pajamas! Monday Mischief!

Hey girls!! Did you know llamas don't wear pajamas?? Isn't that crazy!?!

My husband and I had a chance to go to the state fair this weekend and as usual I want to look at the animals and he wants to look at the arts and crafts. So we did both!

We saw this beautiful quilt and I had to snap a picture of it because it's Phoenix's name sake.

I loved seeing all the horses! They even had the Budweiser Clydesdales out there!

and I saw a very pretty friesian, too!

They even had a Bald Eagle!! He/She was so neat!

The highlight of my day, though, were the llamas!! They look so wise and intelligent! One of the exhibitors even had hers potty trained. Crazy.

Vince and I got our picture taken and I was actually really happy with it! So we bought it. :D

Zoe and Phoenix say that llamas may not wear pajamas but we certainly do!! Especially when it's COLD outside!!

  1. We went to our county fair this weekend. Llamas and camels were there among many other animals. Llamas are cute but not if you are on the receiving end of their spitting! LOL!

  5. Over the weekend I moved my horse to a farm where there are several llamas. I wasn't sure what he would to but by the second afternoon he was...herding them! It was quite a sight. Llamas are so interesting - very different in their interactions from many other hooved animals as they very bold and curious.

  6. We went to our fair last month (cuz we had to see the ribbons we won for our hobby entry!). My fave part was the food... But we also love to look at the crafts and the animals. Our llamas were not nearly as interesting as yours! That one looks like a cross between a llama and a Dalmation!

  7. You are so lucky to be wearing pajamas right now, it's 105 during the day, and barely makes the 70's at night. Loved the llama pics... we never have them at our fair :)
