No one likes a bath!! Well maybe some do but these girls put on the saddest of all sad faces when it's their bath day.
This past weekend I decided that Zoe was kind of looking scruffy and it was time for a bath. Phoenix can actually go longer between baths, her fur stays silky, soft and smooth pretty much year round but I didn't want to leave her out.
Oh the joys of scrubbing dirty dogs. LOL
After baths and nail trims it's time to cuddle!!
They like to be under their blanket until they're dry! It was kind of chilly today!
Of course, about an hour after they are dry and clean it starts pouring rain outside! That is my luck. Oh well. They have really cute jackets to wear!
Do your dogs like baths? Mine always give me sad face! They don't like the rain, either!
Wilhelm is a weirdo and absolutely loves baths. Our guess is that it is because of the warm. He gets into the shower, tips his head back in the spray and smiles! He insists on being in the tub when Brychwyn and Huxley bathe as well. But Wilhelm hates the rain. Like I said, weird.
ReplyDeleteAwe that's so cute!!
DeleteOur girls hate the rain, too!!
I don't mind a bath too much, I just don't like that cleanliness thing afterwards! It is also fun to start trying to escape when you are totally covered in that slippery soap stuff. Get the mom to squirm and panic a bit!
ReplyDeleteZoe likes to try and escape, too!
DeleteOoooo, bathtime! Looks like you are nice and cuddly afterwards. Maybe I can take the bath for you- they seem to be my favorite. Your jackets are really cool, by the way! Have a happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteSadie
Awe! That's awesome you like baths, Sadie!
DeleteWe don't mind baths but we hate it when mom insists on taking pics of us. So not nice! BOL! Love the jackets!!
ReplyDeleteHaha! The girls are the same way.
DeleteGreat photos! None of my three dogs like to take a bath, though Rosie minds it least. Funny, none mind getting wet in the rain, though Jeffie and Rudy don't want to go out if they hear thunder.
ReplyDeleteThank you!!
DeleteZoe is terrified of Thunder and Fireworks. It is so sad!
You both look so adorable! The bath was worth it. ;)
ReplyDeleteChewy isn't a big bath fan, but he does zoomies practically for forever when his bath is over. :)
ReplyDeleteThat sounds so cute!
DeleteMy Mom is too lazy to bathe me, she just sends me to our vet that has a grooming service (they have a separate grooming company), guess I might be lucky? Barks and licks and love, Dakota
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome! I actually used to groom at a vet!
DeleteSame here! I will occasionally wash my cats, though! Sometimes they get oily and their hair sticks up like sonic the hedgehog. :D
ReplyDeleteOh, man. Rita HATES baths. (Even worse than fasting I think...) She desperately needs one though. Probably this weekend. (So, rain, that's good! Does that mean the fires are out?) They look super cute in their coats!
ReplyDeleteAwe poor Rita, the girls hate them too!
DeleteAccording to the website, they say the King Fire is 89% contained. It burnt 97,099 acres, though! :(
Mr. N grudgingly tolerates baths, looking miserable the entire time. Our foster dog used to try to jump out of the sink though. It's a long way down for a five pound dog!
ReplyDeleteYeah, the girls do too and also look miserable! That is scary about your foster dog! :)
DeleteI tolerate them is all I can say which is good sometimes because I get one a week! But nail trims, another story! They all look adorable after! Love Dolly
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, the girls hate nail trims, too! Grooming day is just no fun! I give them lots of treats, though.
DeletePike despises the bath. Nola is an angel in it, LOL!
ReplyDeleteNo, they are not fond of bath time at all, in fact, Mika will cry for the ENTIRE duration of her bath!!!! BOL! Crazy pup!
ReplyDeleteღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
Jedi doesn't *like* baths, but he's not difficult to bathe. I use a grooming table. He'll hop up on it and I'll wash him right there on the patio. It saves my back and he's not standing in dirty water. The BEST part though, is my forced air dryer. After the bath I towel off Jedi and wipe down the table. Then I have Jedi hop back up on the table. With the dryer I can have my full grown, double coated German shepherd completely dry in 30-45 minutes. Before the dryer it would take 3-4 HOURS.
