The Honest Kitchen "Winter Warmers" Review

Hey everyone! Happy Tasty Tuesday to you! Today I have a review for you on the Winter Warmers from The Honest Kitchen!  The Honest Kitchen is a company that makes a variety of different high quality dog and cat foods and they also have different kinds of treats, too! All of their food and treats are made with human grade ingredients in the USA!

Zoe is so excited to get this package!

The Winter Warmers are a limited edition holiday gift set of three broths: Chicken Consommé, Beef & Bone Broth & Turkey Stock. They are a beverage treat that is made from a mix of human grade, dehydrated ingredients and designed to be blended with hot water before serving. As with all of the products from The Honest Kitchen, the Winter Warmers do not contain any corn, wheat, soy or GMO ingredients. They are also safe for cats!

  • Chicken Consommé Ingredients: Dehydrated Chicken, Dehydrated Goat's Milk, Dehydrated Chard and Dehydrated Parsley
  • Beef & Bone Broth Ingredients: Dehydrated Beef, Dehydrated Pumpkin, Dehydrated Shittake Mushrooms and Dehydrated Chard
  • Turkey Stock Ingredients: Dehydrated Turkey, Dehydrated Goat's Milk and Dehydrated Parsley

The Winter Warmers are really easy to mix up. You just need two tablespoons of the product and hot (not boiling) water. Then you just stir it really well and serve warm. I recommend testing it with your finger first to make sure it's not too hot for your pet before giving it to them.

Here's what it looks like after adding hot water and stirring well.

The Winter Warmers are perfect for chilly days, post-hike hydration, after playing in the snow, or any other fall or winter activity. It's been raining like crazy since we moved back to Oregon and the girls have been absolutely loving this warm treat, especially after coming in soaking wet. I also think that the Winter Warmers will be useful for when I'm traveling, too. Sometimes the girls don't want to drink and this beverage treat encourages them to.

Zoe really liked the Winter Warmers! Which is awesome because she is picky!

Phoenix thoroughly enjoyed trying the Winter Warmers!

Both of my girls really liked the Winter Warmers and I would purchase them. I also think they would make a wonderful gift for any pet owner and they would be perfect as stocking stuffers! I highly recommend checking out The Honest Kitchen they have amazing customer service and their shipping is really descent, too!

Right now if you use the coupon code: BGWW14 you can save $2 on your order of the Winter Warmers.

Also, for the next two weeks, if you take this quiz "How Human is Your Pet" they will send you a free gift and you can enter to win $1,000 for your favorite pet charity! How awesome is that?

The Honest Kitchen provided us with a box of their Winter Warmers for free in exchange for an honest review. We were not compensated in any other way and as always my opinion is completely my own.

  1. These seem awesome! I'll definitely have to let the fluffies try them out :)

  2. YUMMY!!! Lucky pups! I bet that is super tasty!
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!

  3. Great idea for getting the dogs to drink while traveling! I hate it when they refuse to drink when we are stopping pretty infrequently!

  4. These sound great, especially with winter well on it's way. We had some really cold weather last weekend and all could have used a warm up!
