We forgot to bring towels to wipe off that mud when we went to cl the off leash park a few days ago- yuck! I can't say I am sick of it though. If we don't keep getting rain to fill the rivers and reservoirs we will be looking at a severe drought due to the lack of snow in the mountains. So I say bring on the rain and (unfortunately) the mud that goes with it!
Yeesh! I thought we had it bad here with the snow, but honestly I find mud to be at least as unappealing! Stay dry! *wags* - Gilligan from WagsAhoy.com
Looks like you are about to have some fun! You should check out our line of dog towels and towel mitts in our shop, they are the best for a quick dry after a bath.
Just be glad you don't have Pike, Linc or Olivia! They are mud magnets and it needs scrubbed off. Nola quickly becomes my favorite (not that she isn't the rest of the time, haha) when it rains!
That is so funny! Vince and I were just talking about that!! Last night I was on instagram looking at a beautiful blue merle aussie and I was saying how much I'd love to have a dog like that but how the heck would I keep it clean when there's 4" of mud out there!
Thanks!! Me too!! They actually don't like it! They are total divas about it. Phoenix will even go out of her way to leap over puddles so she doesn't have to touch it.
We're lucky, our place is on very light soil and doesn't get muddy. It does get very dry very quickly in summer though! I can still sympathise as I used to have 6 Shelties many years ago now. Clean up after walks in winter were not fun! We didn't live here near the beach then.

ReplyDeleteOh no!! I try to always carry extra supplies for that reason!
DeleteRain in itself doesn't bother Mom so much, but she despises all the dirt and mess that goes with it. Hope you dry out soon.

ReplyDeleteOh how Ali loves the mud, until she comes to.the door and realizes she is getting carried to the shower..
ReplyDeleteI should think mud squishing between your pads would be icky. no licky. Let mommy clean it off!
ReplyDeleteLeeAnna at not afraid of color
Yeah, it totally is and Zoe is allergic to it! Her paws get red and oozy so we've been putting boots on her.
