Zoe & Phee Visit the Tulip Farm! Sisters On Saturday

On Thursday, my husband and I packed up the girls and headed down to the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm in Woodburn, Oregon. They charge $5 per person to enter the farm and you can walk around as long as you like. They also have quite a few other activities to do and it's a lot like a carnival. It's a really cool place to visit and it's 100% pet friendly. They actually encourage you to bring your dog. All of the workers are extremely friendly and we had an awesome time!

When we first got there it was really overcast and kind of ugly out but luckily the clouds parted pretty quickly and the blue sky came out.

At first Phoenix stuck her nose in every flower she came across and came out sneezing every time! It was pretty funny. We know that these plants can be toxic so we didn't let her put any in her mouth. She was just nosing them.

Both of the girls were really good. We practiced a bunch of different behaviors and we got a lot of compliments about how well trained they were. Some people even asked us if they could take photos of them.

Phoenix decided to stand on the "Wooden Shoes".

Zoe decided to just stand next to them.

We practiced a couple of recalls with distractions. There were people everywhere. Both girls held their stays every time and they came every time we called.

We took a bunch of posed shots!

Right before we left the girls decided to check out one of the kiddie rides.

We had such a fun day. I got so many funny photos and the girls did a great job posing. If you're in the area between the end of March and beginning of May you should stop by this farm and check it out!

ZoePhee is not affiliated in any way with the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm. We were not asked to write anything about them and they are not responsible for the content of this blog post. We payed our entry fee just like everyone else. I did not photoshop out any leashes. They were off leash for all of their photos and put back on immediately when we were done.

  1. What an incredibly gorgeous setting. I absolutely adore the picture of Phoenix sniffing the pink tulips--they match so well with her collar! I saw tulips for the first time on a trip to SanFran, CA and fell in love. Here in Florida I never see them, it's just not the right climate :(.

  4. The tulips looks beautiful. Ottawa has a Tulip Festival every May because in WWII they turned land in the city temporarily into Dutch territory so a princess could be born on Dutch soil. The Dutch have given us tulips every year since. They are so beautiful.

Looks like a beautiful day out. I love places that encourage dogs to visit too!

  6. This is always the time of year when I say, Why didn't I plant more tulips last fall? Thanks for sharing these even if they are not in my yard. They make a lovely background for your lovely dogs.

  9. That looks like a truly incredible place. I adore tulips but it's impossible to grow there here due to wildlife eating them. I'd be in heaven to visit that tulip farm with a good camera in hand! You and the girls did such a fabulous job with getting great photos! I think you have some that should be framed in this bunch!!!
