Zoe is the most helpful dog! We trained her to pick up things that we drop and hand them to us. Utensils are a huge accomplishment because most dogs do not like putting metal things in their mouths!
I had her bring the spoon to the dishwasher! :D
Good job, Zoe!
That's impressive! I would be over the moon happy if I could teach one of the boys to just pick up a few toys laying around the house.
ReplyDeleteAwww, so precious and so smart too. I linked you to Awww Mondays.
ReplyDeleteHave a woof woof Awww Monday. ☺
awwww now she's adorable!
ReplyDeleteGreat job Zoe!
ReplyDeleteAww! she is so clever :-)
ReplyDeleteSo clever!
ReplyDeleteVery clever Zoe! I only pick things up from the floor that are food, my nickname is Hoover but that's the same as Mommy's helper right? Love Dolly
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, adorable! I wonder if Bain would hold a spoon in his mouth too.
ReplyDeleteSuch a good little helper!
ReplyDeleteGasp!!! That's SO amazing! She looks ridiculously cute in that first picture! Like she's got her spoon ready - where's the ice cream?
ReplyDeleteGood girl! Oddly enough, Mr. N doesn't mind small metal objects like coins but he doesn't like the big ones.
ReplyDeleteThat is SO cu!e! And impressive! Geez, Rita is really not pulling her wieght around here! ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great trick! That's fabulous!
ReplyDeleteFantastic trick!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great trick! I've been threatening to teach Nala to cook me breakfast--I think that this is a much, much smarter idea. :P
ReplyDeleteI've taught Shyla to pick stuff up for me too! The metal stuff is hard - we agree! Keys, spoons - Great job, Zoe!!!! In my case, I taught Shyla because of my never-ending spine problems. Somedays, the floor is just too far away for me! Zoe is ready if either of you ever gets a sore back!
ReplyDeletethat is too adorable! Dakota isn't permitted in the kitchen (that is where our cat eats), but if he were, I would try and teach him this! (BTW we have a super small kitchen and having a long haired dog in there underfoot with the oven, isn't a good idea) :)
ReplyDeleteDakotasDen
Does she hire out?
ReplyDelete--Wags (and purrs) from Life with Dogs and Cats
