Happy National Walk Your Dog Week and also Fit Dog Friday, everyone! Every dog loves going for a good walk and it's also great exercise for the owner, too! Today I have a review for you on a neat little gadget that will make your walks much safer for both you and your dog!
When you have a dog like Phoenix, who's scared of other dogs, you have to find times to walk when there are less people and dogs out. I usually walk late at night or really early in the morning when it's quiet. With Fall upon us and Winter on the way, daylight hours are limited so even if you don't need to walk your dog at special times for reactivity purposes, you will probably find yourself somewhere in the dark at some point. It's getting darker earlier and being visible and staying safe is important.
Walking at night is beneficial to my dog but it comes with it's own challenges. We've had a few close calls with cars! People drive way too fast around our apartment complex and the adjacent road is pretty busy, too! Being visible so we don't get run over is really important. I was very excited when I was given the opportunity to review the B'Seen Night Lights from Kruuse.
Kruuse is an awesome company that is most well known for their Buster Cube puzzle toy but they make a variety of different puzzle toys and other various pet products! They even have puzzle toys for kitties!
The B'Seen 360 Night Light is a small but powerful LED light that shines brightly for maximum visibility at night. You can easily attach it to your dog's collar or to your leash. The B'Seen light is waterproof, shock proof and very light weight. It's really easy to turn on and off, you just have to twist it gently. It's also really easy to change the batteries, too. The light has only one setting and it's flashing. They come in a variety of colors and if you don't like the plastic look, they offer a metallic version.
I really like the B'Seen 360 Light! It's a neat little light and they definitely have made our late night and early morning walks much more safe! This product would be good for any time you and your dog need to be visible, whether it's walking your dog in the dark, camping or playing on the beach. Or even just running around your yard at night!
I would highly recommend checking it out! I'm really happy with ours!
Do you walk at night? How do you stay visible?
I want one of those so bad - they look so awesome :) I need to get my butt in gear for dog walking week, I can't believe it's been a year already - I remember the last one so well.
ReplyDeleteThey are really neat! I feel a lot safer with them on! I love National Walk Your Dog Week! I think it's such a cool idea! Last year was so fun!
DeleteThat looks great! It would help me find Rocco in the dark backyard at night too. I usually go out there with a flashlight!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, definitely! We actually used the little dog park in my complex late last night and it was very helpful for finding them!
DeleteThose are great lights! I need something like that for our early morning walks. I know it isn't stylish but I wear a safety vest and a light myself as we walk the dark country road.
ReplyDeleteThey are so neat, I really like them!
DeleteWith it getting darker earlier and earlier now, these are really important - thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI definitely agree! Being visible is so important!
DeleteLooks like a pretty cool light. Mom wears a reflective vest, and we dogs have them too but don't wear them much. This would be more practical.
ReplyDeleteThey are definitely really convenient!
DeleteStaying visible is very important. Great review!
ReplyDeleteWe don't really walk at night where we live now. It's pitch black, so we try to go before the sun goes down.
ReplyDeleteHowever, we do have a reflective leash that we've used when visiting family and we've gone for night walks. The night light harness that DzDogs posted about seems like it'd be a great option for you guys since you do some night walking :)

That vest that DZ dogs posted about is cool but it doesn't have a leash attachment on it. I don't really like having to deal with a lot of gear and the little lights on the collar work really well!
DeleteMr. N wears a human light-up band around his neck because we have extra of those.
ReplyDeleteI just got 6 lights to stay visible at night. I attached three of them to Koira's Ruffwear Track Jacket, which has three loops built in specifically for attaching blinky lights. I put one onto the handle of our leash. And the other two I'm saving as backups in case a light dies or to attach to something else if needed.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome! Visibility is so helpful for staying safe in the dark!
DeleteThat is really a cool looking light! We don't walk too much when it's dark, but I can see that coming in handy even on just rainy, dreary days when a little extra something like that could make us seen better on the roads.
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining our Walk Your Dog Week event!

Yep, for sure! They would be great for that because the are waterproof! :D
DeleteMy dogs have flashing collars. They're good.
ReplyDeleteVery cute!! How funny we both posted night time walking safety posts. :-)
ReplyDeleteHi hi hi! Ojo here! Those lights look pawesome!
ReplyDeleteI should get one of these! They finally look like something that'd be small enough for mine.
ReplyDeleteThese look great! Barley and I just avoid walking in the dark--I'm lucky to have a work schedule where I either have mornings free or afternoons free, so I can work in a walk during daylight hours before heading to work or settling in to grade papers for the night. I love that last picture so much!
ReplyDeleteThis looks great for Halloween, as well. I adore that dusk picture.
ReplyDeleteSomehow, we haven't had to do much night walking--but that could easily change. We really should look into something like this! Thanks for reviewing them! :D
ReplyDeleteI have a few LED light things that attach to their collars as well. Comes in so handy! I love to walk at night!
ReplyDeleteღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
We have LED lights for the boys' collars and reflective leashes. I LOVE your Halloween theme!
ReplyDeleteWe've been walking in the dark mornings for awhile already. The first few years mom tried LED collars, leashes, lights but now she just doesn't bother. Thanks for joining #DogWalkingWeek! Love Dolly
