Happy Throwback Thursday everyone! Since yesterday was Phoenix's Gotcha Day, I figured today would be a great day to share some photos of her on her first day at home!
Riding home from the shelter. She was scared and also car sick. |
This was her first time outside! |
Phoenix's first walk with Zoe! Phoenix is the one on lead. |
Phoenix was and still is a huge fan of the kitchen area! |
Once she wasn't as scared, she did make herself at home! |

ReplyDeleteYay!! Happy gotcha week!
ReplyDeleteI love those throwback photos! Yay for Phoenix! Has she gotten over her carsickness? I have a friend whose new puppy is terribly carsick... so I'm curious.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Phoenix's car sickness honestly varies by the trip. Sometimes she's okay, sometimes we can't go 3 miles. If I know we are going somewhere, I try to plan for early mornings and I don't feed her before we leave, then I usually give her some snacks when we get to where we were going. It has helped a ton! Also, I think the wobble board has helped her to get used to the motion, too. We use it all the time.
