Zoe and Phee visit Mt.Tabor!

Hi everyone happy Fit Dog Friday! This week we went on a fun walk at Mt. Tabor! Mt. Tabor is a volcanic cinder cone and they've turned it into a beautiful park! The park features hiking trails, a play ground and a dog park. We didn't use the dog park, but we did have a lovely walk.

Mt. Tabor is a great place to work out because there are a lot of stairs you have to climb to get to the top! When you get to the top, if you can peak between the trees you can see Portland! It's pretty neat!

The girls had so much fun checking this place out. It's not close to our place, so we don't get to go very often but we always have a great time when we make it out there! If you're in the Portland area and you want to go for a nice walk, I'd recommend this park. It's great!

  3. Stairs are always great exercise. And usually there is a great view waiting at the top like here.

  4. It looks like a great place. I really need to start visiting different parks around my state, just to give the dogs some new sights/sounds and work on their skills.

  10. Dear Zoe and Phee,

We love climbing too. This sounds like a most pawesome walk! I'm sure it can't be that far from our house, despite what my person says... I'll try to convince her to take us there!
