Comfy & Stylish Dog Beds from Molly Mutt! Review

Sometimes you just need a comfortable place to rest your head!

A nice place to sleep is so important for all of our furry friends so I was super excited when we were asked to try out a bed from Molly Mutt! Molly Mutt is a company that specializes in stylish dog duvets and crate covers but they also have various other items like leashes and collars.

The duvets are made from 100% cotton canvas and feature a zipper opening. They are okay to machine wash and dry (on low)! The idea behind Molly Mutt's duvets is that by using our old bedding, clothes and towels it helps to keep our stuff out of landfills.  The owners came up with the idea for duvets after too many trips hauling dog beds to the laundromat. Having a duvet that you can just zip off and throw in the laundry is so much easier!

How it works: It's actually pretty simple and easy! When you order a duvet and stuff sack, you stuff your old blankets or clothes into the stuff sack and then you just zip the duvet over it. You could even use it to cover old dog beds! Our dogs love and are comforted by our scent so by using our old clothes it can help our dogs to feel connected to us even if we are not home.

Molly Mutt also offers personalization where you can get your pets name embroidered onto the bed. We didn't go with this option but it's available for those who are interested in it!

We ordered a medium/large "papillon duvet" and I'm pretty happy with it! The bright colors are absolutely gorgeous and it's probably the most stylish pet bed we've ever had. The bed is big enough so that one dog can stretch out fully. If they curl up, they can share it.

The only downside with the larger size beds is that they need more stuffing and they are a bit heavier to move around. They are also a bit more time consuming to wash if you need to wash all of the bedding that's inside.

Overall I'm really impressed with our dog duvet from Molly Mutt, Zoe, Phoenix and our cats really like it! I would recommend checking them out and I would totally get another one.

Have you ever tried a Doggy Duvet before? What bed would you get from Molly Mutt?

ZoePhee received a Molly Mutt Dog Duvet in exchange for an honest review. We were not monetarily compensated and all opinions are my own. Molly Mutt is not responsible for the content of this blog post.

  4. That pattern looks perfect with your girls. Barley would probably end up with Royals because her leash, collar, etc. are purple--but Soth likes reds and pinks and in all reality, he'd probably steal it so he could persuade me to choose a different color ;)

  5. I love the "I don't like Mondays" and "northwestern girls" patterns. I'm sure my boys would love any of them though. My husband is a soldier and leaves a ton and I think this could help my boys (a border collie and an Aussie) whenever he leaves for long periods of time.

  6. I think my Maximus and Orion would like the rocketman duvet. I've had my eye on these for a few months now and would love to win one.

  7. I love bright colors. If I won I would probably get something more practical though (my decor is browns, greens and blues). I've always loved their 100,000 fireflies camping print and it would match our color scheme and lifestyle. I am not sure if I would get the water resistant one or not for Chester since he has accidents in the house now. I would probably want to the regular cotton one because I would actually prefer the pee soak in and not run off so I can wash the bed instead or ruin our wood floor.... not that it's actually happened or anything :/

  8. What a pretty bed! Also love that it can be stuffed with clothes, blankets, etc. Would make mashing much easier I think?

  9. I love that pattern! I like Molly Mutt too, though I use old pillows instead of clothes/towels - it's much less lumpy, lighter and quicker to wash!

  11. So many wonderful choices. It's a tough choice, but I would choose the Romeo & Juliet Duvet med/large. Thank you so much for the chance. I love the idea of filling the duvet with towels and clothing we no longer use!

  14. I love the concept of these beds. What a great way to keep old clothes out of landfills and give the dogs a nice, soft bed at the same time. I love so many of the patterns. I'm at a toss-up between the Romeo and Juliet (blue) and the Dew in the Grass (green). I have to figure which room I'd use it in most. We have a couple of beds in each my bedroom and living room, so I think I'd go with the green for the TV room. I need to put a couple of beds in there.

  16. I love the pattern you chose, so pretty! Our Molly Mutt bed is still a huge hit around here, though it's now due for a wash (which will be simple) and a re-stuffing because they've trampled it down so much!
