The Largest Puddle!

The other day we were out at the park and the girls found the largest puddle to play in! It was almost a small pond! It's funny because both of my dogs used to avoid putting their feet in water and now they just plow right through all the puddles!

Do your dogs like playing in the water?

  1. Bailie and I seem to be puddle magnets, marching right through but Katie is not a water fan and always walks around them. That looks like a good one!

  3. My guys getting their feet wet (but only their feet!). The reflection you captures is really cool!

  4. I wish! Mine will grudgingly wade if I go in with her, but that's it. I was raised by a Labrador; this is endlessly baffling to me.

  5. Awww, so cute.

Our Little Bit loved to cool off in the water. Play not so much, but on a hot day she would lay down in the water to cool off.

Have a woof woof Wordless Wednesday. ☺

  8. Yay! Puddles! :)

Storm hates anything to do with getting wet. Except when I took her to the pools one day for Dog Day. I had to really coax her in but after a few times of throwing the Chuckit ball, she had a blast and forgot all about being in water. :)

  10. Before I even read what you wrote, I thought to myself that it looked more like a pond! Our crew loves the water. Sheba and Luke the most, Cricket strictly likes water to cool off in, or to chase her ball in...she won't just splash through it without a good reason...LOL.

  11. Harley would prefer to walk around it, and if he can't he will tip toe through the shallow edges. Jaxson get's excited just at the sight and would try to roll in a small puddle if I let him. #theoddcouple

  12. As you probably noticed in the pics on my blog today, Rita LOVES puddles! She hates deep water, but a puddle is her favorite thing - especially on a hot hike! She loves to lay down and dunk her stomach! So funny.

  13. Glad your girls had so much fun. My dogs are Labs - does that answer your question? :)

  14. That definitely looks more like a pond than a puddle! What great fun they must have had.

  15. That is adorable! I love to see their reflections. I have water-averse pups. They both avoid water, in bathtubs and in nature, like the plague!

  19. That does look like a pond! Neeko and Faolan cannot stay away from water. Bruce isn't huge on it, but will if he has to.
