Busy Buddy Puppy Twist 'n Treat Dog Toy on Cyber Monday!

Hi everyone! It's Cyber Monday and I decided it would be the perfect day to do our monthly chewy.com review! Chewy.com is an awesome company who ships all of your favorite pet products right to your door! They have amazing customer service and their shipping is incredibly fast. They are one of our favorite companies! We received our toy as part of the chewy.com blogger program in exchange for an honest review.

Today we are reviewing the Busy Buddy Puppy Twist 'n Treat Dog Toy in the medium size. I'm a huge fan of puzzle toys and my dogs really like them, too so this was the perfect choice for this month's chewy review.

Sorry the toy is dusty.. I put white crumbly treats that are messy in it.

The toy unscrews and you can fill it with treats, dog food or even cream cheese or peanut butter (be sure to check and make sure your peanut butter does not contain xylitol). Then you screw it back together and you can make the toy easier or harder depending on how tight you screw it.

The dog has to paw at it and nudge it with their nose to get the treats to fall out!

Zoe liked playing with this toy with peanut butter inside!

My dogs had a great time playing with this food toy. It kept them busy for a while and I really like that you can make it easier or harder depending on how tight you screw it.

The toy is dishwasher safe and comes in three sizes: medium, small and extra small.

The toy is marketed towards puppies or dogs with a soft mouth so if your dog is a heavy chewer, this might not be the toy for him/her.

I like that the toy easy to fill and easily cleaned. I would recommend checking it out.
Do your dogs like puzzle toys?

  1. Bailie might like this. I don't do puzzle toys. I would rather starve than work for food. Katie always loved puzzle toys too, but now since she can't move around very well, it makes the ones that need to be moved a lot too difficult for her.

    1. Emma, you sound like my cat. Are you channeling her!? LOL! That's awesome that Bailie and Katie like puzzle toys, though!

  2. I love treat toys like this one. It's hard to have them for our dogs, because even though each dog will have their own treat toy, they always want the other dog's toy. Eye roll. So I've learned to only bring them out when I can supervise the play. I'll have to pick up four more for the holidays. They'll love it!

    Thanks for the idea!

    1. You're welcome! :D I totally know your pain! My two are the same way. Zoe thinks all of the treat toys belong to her so I really have to be careful and monitor them, too! Thanks so much for stopping by! :D

  3. I tried to review this toy but they were all snapped up by the time I replied to the Chewy email. Dang! Looks like fun. We have a Buster cube but it is so noisy on our hardwood floors I never put it out. Jimmy doesn't share well, so there's that as well.

    Fun pictures!

    1. I totally hear you on the Buster cube! The Soft Buster cube is so much better than the original! I highly recommend the soft one. :D

  4. Mr. N has this toy and he likes it but I think he prefers the Wobbler. Something about that pawing motion must be satisfying.

  5. They love puzzles. We have an entire pot drawer in the kitchen for them. That looks like a fun one!

  6. This is a really cool toy. I wonder how long it would take Shiner to figure one of these out.

    1. It's pretty easy unless you tighten it the whole way. It would be pretty easy for her! :D

  7. When B gets frustrated with a treat toy she tends to lash out at the toy. This probably couldn't withstand her frustration. ;)

  8. This looks like a good toy for Roxie! Nola tends to be really, really rough on her food puzzles. We have a graveyard of Kongs. :p

  10. We tried that toy way back when it first came out, and it didn't work out for our strong-jawed dogs. I'm glad it's working out for you!

  12. We had one of these when Luke was a puppy and he loved it. But he became a tough chewer, so we had to switch to one of the tougher treat toys.

  13. Pretty sure our dogs would demolish it quickly. The tennis balls die quickly!
