Zoe doesn't like to catch things, a lot of the time she will close her eyes and duck. 

My husband was throwing the dogs snow balls and we caught this hilarious photo!

A Serious Model!

Yep, I accidentally dropped this sheet on her head, prior to taking this photo. 

Luckily Zoe is such a super trooper that she can work through it but she wasn't that thrilled at first! 

Stop And Smell the Lupines?

Photographing Zoe is hard. 

She can be weird out in the environment and she generally does not like to pose. 

I was trying to photograph her with these lupines but she had other ideas!

I did eventually get her to look at me!

Phoenix is definitely the easier "model" to work with and I'm so happy with this shot! 

Reflections!

The forest is flooded and on the only sunny day, I got very lucky with some reflection photos!

I've always wanted to get photos like this! I'm so glad they turned out so neat!

Professional Dog Models!

My dogs are complete professionals when it comes to photo shoots! They are so well behaved!

Phoenix would never think of dive bombing her sister during a shoot!

They are so professional that they would never wrestle or mess up the sheet!

...and Zoe would never bite her sisters neck off or show her butt to the camera! 

Phoenix would never dream of making any funny faces!

Nope! No funny faces here!

They are total professionals!

Storm Warning on B&W Sunday

I thought this would be a fun edit to show everyone! This was taken when we hiked at Lost Lake when the storm clouds were rolling in. I just checked our forecast and it says it's going to rain the next couple of days. That's sort of the fun thing about Oregon. You never know what kind of weather you're going to have! One day it can be 80 degrees and the next day it can be 65 and raining. It keeps things interesting for sure!

Also, Storm Warning is the name of one of my favorite books by Mercedes Lackey. :D I thought it would make a great title for this post.

Photo Shooting the Girls! Sisters on Saturday

Whenever I do photo shoots we always warm up by doing some tricks first before I add product and a lot of the times I just do trick shoots. The girls have fun doing them and I need to practice some indoor photography. It's also good for them to practice posing together!

I'm really excited because I just got a 1/2 scholarship for the Fenzi Academy and I will be taking an online pet photography class through them! I love the Fenzi Academy and they offer a variety of different dog training classes so I would recommend checking them out! We've done several classes and I always enjoy them. 

Tomorrow we are going to a doggie meetup! I'm hoping that Phoenix behaves herself. I'm going to take her along and see how it goes. She's been doing super lately but I will let everyone know how it goes!

Fit Dogs Under The Rainbow!

This week we've been mostly just walking out at Thousand Acres. Yesterday morning it was raining off and on but the sun came out and there was a brilliant rainbow off in the distance. It was fading fast and I was only able to capture a bit of it.

Switching It Up

We haven't really done a whole lot of anything this week. I've come down with some sort of weird head cold/allergy situation and haven't been feeling my best. Mostly, the girls and I have been resting or visiting the dog park in our apartment complex. On Friday we have a fun hike with one of my friends scheduled and a picnic lunch. Then next week is our big event of the year, Doggie Dash. So I'm hoping that I'm feeling better by then!
