Are You Coming???

One of the things that I do regularly with my dogs is send them down the trails so that I can either practice their recalls and photograph them recalling. Phoenix has figured this out and usually she will stop and look back at me like "are you coming?" One of my favorite things about her is how well she pays attention to me!

What's your favorite thing about your dog?

  1. She definitely looks like she has things all figured out.

  2. Mom loves the way we snuggle, but she also loves to watch us work. So many things she loves it is hard to narrow it down.

  3. Phod does the same kind of thing off leash (usually). Hailey, she could care less where we are!

  8. You work diligently at training your dogs. I wanna be like you when I grow up! Actually, I want Valentino to be like Phoenix, ha! My hound dog has a mind of his own off-leash.

  11. That is so sweet! I love that. And it's something I've been working on with the pug. We call it "watch me." It's useful, especially when he sees something down the road he might like to run after. With "watch me" he looks at me instead.

  12. That's so cute. I mostly walk Rita on leash, but several times per walk, she'll look up at me with a big smile on her face. It's adorable. It always seems like she's checking in: "Are you enjoying this as much as I am?"
