Meet up with Mr. N!

The past few weeks, the rain has been absolutely awful! I was so relieved when we finally caught a break! Since it wasn't pouring buckets, we decided to have a fun meet up with Mr. N from Tenacious Little Terrier out at Thousand Acres (aka The Big Park)!

Zoe loves being chased and they had a fun time running around together! 

None of the dogs were that impressed with the log I chose for a group photo! LOL!

The dogs had so much fun running around together! Zoe did end up photobombing Mr. N's chewy.com review but his mom will probably tell you more about that!

It was an awesome day and it didn't even rain on us and wasn't windy. A total win in my book! The dogs didn't even get that dirty! We did almost 5 miles but I'm not exactly sure what it was exactly because I forgot to turn the mapper off when I got into the car and drove off.. Ooops!

Too Tired for Mischief & Nosework Fun with Identity V+E!

We had a very busy weekend and both of the girls are just too tired for mischief! On Thursday night we went to dinner at my friend's house and Zoe got to visit with her best buddy, Marley. Sadly, I didn't get any photos. It was just too dark.

Then on Friday, I went to a nosework trial with my friend Lia from Identity V+E and her fabulous pup, Riko. While I was at noswork, my husband took the girls to the big park to play.

I'm so glad that Riko liked me! He's so cute and funny! He really wanted to snuggle even though his mom was telling him to get back! LOL! (My face looks grumpy but I was actually really tired and sick with a cold in this photo!)

Riko got 2nd and 3rd place at both of his trials! Congrats to him and his mom!

After nosework, Lia and Riko came over to my place and stayed the night. Here's Riko making friends with my husband for some spaghetti! :D My husband was very taken with Riko. He and I are both huge fans of the malinois breed and we loved having Lia and Riko over. The way Riko's mind works was fascinating to me. I was so excited for a chance to work with such an amazing dog. Lia let me do some shaping (clicker training) with him and it was so fun.

We had a fantastic weekend! There was some mischief with Phoenix. She and Zoe were a little stressed out with Riko in the house. They are not used to sharing their space, so we kept them separated and at one point we did have a little bit of a lunge and screech from Phee at Riko (they were both on leash) but they did really well other than that. We also had mischief with my cat, Pandora who kept trying to escape from the bedroom. Overall though everyone did so well!

This is a pretty classic Zoe photo!! Another one of those "not loving the water!!!" pictures!! :) We went to the big park with Tenacious Little Terrier and Sage yesterday and I just brought Zoe with me. On the weekends the big park can be too busy for Phoenix, unless you go really early in the morning or right at lunch time. So I opted to leave Phoenix at home and take her to play "chuck it" (fetch) later.

Winter Walks with Blogger Friends!

We had a really fun opportunity to go walking with some fellow blogger friends yesterday and the girls had so much fun! We went with Mr. N from Tenacious Little Terrier and Sage from The (mis)Adventures of Sage.

Look Who We Found in Portland! Monday Mischief

We are in Portland Oregon because my husband is trying to get a job here. He had to have a physical and whatnot and once that paperwork goes through we should be able to move! I am so excited!

We decided to go to Pet Expo on Saturday (unfortunately, I was too busy working with Phoenix to get pictures) and later found out that our friends from It's Dog Or Nothing and Tenacious Little Terrier were also at Pet Expo!! We didn't get to see them there but we decided to meet up with them and go to lunch the next day! We had so much fun! We loved meeting everyone!
