Anxiety Wrap Review

Hi everyone! I hope you're all having an awesome day! Today I have a review for you! Recently we were given the opportunity to try out The Anxiety Wrap by the Company of Animals. If you've visited us before you might remember that Zoe has a terrible noise phobia. It started the year we got her with the 4th of July and has progressively gotten worse from there. Sometimes even our neighbors banging around upstairs can cause her to get upset and she will also get upset over me doing laundry. The spin cycle with the washer shaking freaks her out. We've tried all sorts of calming aids before and sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. It just depends on the severity of the noise. I really like the idea of the Anxiety Wrap and I've heard that it works wonders for some dogs.

Trying to Focus on the Good

We've all had those days where things just don't go quite right. Where you roll out of bed and there's a dark cloud following you around and it's just not so great. I had one of those days yesterday! I woke up late and my husband and I had a miscommunication about me dropping him off at work. He thought I had decided to stay home so he was about to leave me here. I popped out of bed just in time to tell him to wait and then I had to rush and my brain was not fully awake by the time the girls and I hit the park.

Ruffwear "Summit Trex" Dog Boots Review

Best Buds - TBT

Zoe and Marley are best buds! This was back when Zoe was 2 years old and taken at the dog park I used to go to when we lived on the other side of town. Marley belongs to a good friend of mine and he's a really sweet dog. We don't get to see him very often anymore and we miss him!

Book Review: Saved By Gracie

Hi everyone! Today we are reviewing "Saved by Gracie: How a Rough-And-Tumble Rescue Dog Dragged Me Back to Health, Happiness and God" by Jan Dunlap. I would like to preface this by letting everyone know that I am not a religious person. I did go to church when I was younger but I don't really identify with any specific religion. That being said, I like to keep an open mind about things and was happy to review the book. ZoePhee was sent a copy of Saved By Gracie in exchange for an honest review.

Gold Paw Series "Stretch Fleece Coats" Review

Lately the weather has been pretty good for Oregon! We've had some really nice, sunny days but it's still pretty cold outside. Especially in the early morning and at night. I've been inspired by KB from Romping and Rolling in the Rockies and we've been getting up super early and hitting the hiking trails!

I took this a few years ago before we got Phoenix! It was one of those days where all of my clients magically cancelled and it was such a beautiful day that I put Zoe in the car and drove to the coast. This is still one of my most favorite pictures of her that I've ever taken.

This is my new series on my mistakes with my rescue dogs. I'm going to do these posts at least once or twice a month on Thursdays. In these posts I will talk about some of the mistakes that I think I made and what I would do differently. I hope that reading about my journey with my two rescue girls will be helpful to anyone else looking to get a dog.
